What qualifications do I need to volunteer or mentor with Mkono?

The requirements to join Mkono as a volunteer or mentor can vary depending on the specific role or area of expertise. Generally, we look for individuals who are passionate about social change and possess skills that align with our current needs. 

What type of commitment is required?

We ask our volunteers and mentors for an initial commitment of 12 months to ensure stability and consistency in the support we provide to our entrepreneurs. After this period, the commitment shifts to a month-to-month basis, allowing for greater flexibility.

Can I volunteer remotely or do I need
​to be based in a specific location?

All of our volunteers and mentors at Mkono work remotely, collaborating across many different countries. We leverage digital tools and platforms to maintain connectivity and ensure effective communication and support among our teams and entrepreneurs.
